Three parts, each shown
- Google’s price for the model. Your agent runs on Google Gemini, which is billed by what it hears, reads and says, at Google’s list prices.
- Our fee, on Vorelai credit. A call paid from Vorelai credit costs Google’s price plus 25%. On your own Gemini key, Google bills you directly and we add nothing.
- Your carrier’s minutes. Your phone carrier bills the call as it bills any other. That part never passes through us.
Your plan is a flat monthly fee on top, the same however much your agents talk.
Why a long call costs more a minute
A voice model doesn’t keep the call in its head between replies. For each reply it reads everything again: its instructions, what it knows, its tools, and the conversation so far. In the first minute that conversation is short. By the tenth, every reply reads ten minutes of it again. So each minute costs a little more than the one before.
A new agent, a minute, by how long the call lasts:
| Call length | Google’s price | On Vorelai credit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 minute | $0.039 | $0.049 |
| 3 minutes | $0.062 | $0.077 |
| 10 minutes | $0.154 | $0.192 |
| 30 minutes | $0.240 | $0.300 |
That’s a new agent as the dashboard makes it, with no documents, tools or calendar. The dashboard’s own figure is for a 3-minute call, about as long as a typical call to a business.
The memory caps it
Each agent remembers the last 5, 10 or 30 minutes of a call: “Remembers the last”, under Advanced in the agent’s settings, 10 to start with. Past that, the oldest part of the conversation is let go, so every reply reads about the same amount and a minute stops getting dearer.
A minute of a 30-minute call, by how much the agent remembers:
| Remembers the last | Google’s price | On Vorelai credit |
|---|---|---|
| 5 minutes | $0.143 | $0.179 |
| 10 minutes | $0.240 | $0.300 |
| 30 minutes, the whole call | $0.412 | $0.514 |
A shorter memory costs less, but in a long call the agent may forget something the caller said at the start. Its facts and notes are never forgotten: they’re read with every reply.
What else adds to it
- Facts and notes are read with every reply, so long notes add a little to every minute.
- Tools are described to the agent with every reply. A calendar to book in is the largest.
- Documents and websites are searched when a caller asks something they answer, and what the agent finds stays in the conversation.
- After the call, the caller’s words are written down again, more accurately, and the call is summarized. Together that’s a fraction of a cent a minute.
See it for your agent
In the dashboard, each agent’s page shows its price a minute for a 3-minute call, with everything you’ve given it. Click it for the breakdown: each part, and the price at 1, 3, 10 and 30 minutes. Once calls come in, Home shows what they really cost, and each call in Calls shows its own, part by part.
These figures are estimates from Google’s list prices and a measured call, with a reply about every 10 seconds, checked on 9 October 2026. A real call costs more or less depending on how much is said. When Google changes its prices, the dashboard follows.
